Pan Holic has one foot in the food court business and another in the dine-in restaurant experience. They have a walk in area available for customers who would prefer a more intimate setting to dine. A booth extends out from the restaurant- connecting it to the bustling food court life right outside which allows for quick ordering.
I normally order the black bean noodles (jjajjangmyen) which is a Korean-Chinese fusion dish. It comes out to under $9 for a very filling meal and with radish and onion on the side.
Life hack: ask for a side of white rice and mix it in with the leftover sauce at the end- and viola! New meal!

I am big on Chinese Korean food.
Jjajjangmyun, jjambbong, sweet sour chicken, and stir fried chicken (chinese style) is my go to items.

I've been to almost all Chinese Korean restaurants in Korea Town and this is my review about this place.

    RESTAURANT:
    - I can smell Clorox from the plates. Not sure how they wash their dishes but it has very unpleasant smell.
    - Waitress does not pay attention to you. This is shocking considering this is such a small restaurant but no attention is given to you at all.

    FOOD:
Jjajjangmyun - It's okay. Can't hide the fact that this is pre-made sauce poured over the noodle. I literally saw this with my own eyes when I asked for more sauce.
Jjambbong - Best I've ever had. They must use broth. A great amount of seafood and a huge portion.
sweet-sour chicken - I normally like to see the color and eat without dipping in sauce. With that being said, top pieces were cold! I can only assume that they put in previously fried pieces to make the appropriate portion size. AND the color of the fried chicken is brown. That says it all.
stir-fried chicken - Tooooooooo much sauce. Sooooooooo much sauce. I thought this was stir-fried chicken not sauce-fried chicken.

Overall, they have one of the best Jjamppong. But that is all.

I'll probably won't dine-in again but will have Jjamppong to go.

Jjajangmyun didn't taste good :( It felt old like it was sitting outside for awhile... which might actually be true because they called our number so fast after ordering, that I was surprised. Their tangsooyook is so expensive, but I haven't tried it yet. Their shrimp fried rice was better than the jjajangmyun but for some reason the shrimp was really soggy.

But you know, I could be okay giving more stars if it was just the food. But the biggest reason why I am giving the low rating of two stars is because of the customer service and overall vibe of the place.

Although this is just my observation, it seems like this is family run, which is fine but also a very risky style of business. The servers and managers all look SO STRESSED and so dead. They look like they want to leave and don't want to be there. I feel like they need younger workers who will not huddle around the counter in a group all staring at you while you order. This actually happened to me and I felt so uncomfortable. This is fine and all, whether the workers are all family members or not whatever, but there was no sense of joy or happiness at all, which then makes us wonder with what kind of attitude are the foods made? They are not piping hot dishes full of flavor or passion at all. It tasted and felt like on-the-verge-just-getting-by sort of a dish that anyone could just make at home :(((((

Nastiest food server/clerk ever experience i ever had!!! I ordered 2 milk tea with aloe and egg pudding with this older cashier. Paid $12+ and i got JUST a plain boba tea, so i went up to ask what happened to the aloe and pudding...was followed was a war of words and eyeglass throwing by this asian/korean lady!!! I would not have reacted if she was nice enough to refund us BUT she kept saying "sha yup to me!" Btw. Im also asian!!! Will NEVEr set  foot in this store! I was livid when i left....no Star!!! Customer service way below zero!!!

I ordered fried chicken non spicy, they gave me orange chicken and it was very spicy. I told the manager that i wanted no spice. The lady was so mean and said orange chicken is with orange stuff on it. I KNOW WHAT orange chicken is, i said nevermind and she said yeah, i said i want my money back and she said no money back .
. What a mean person and service is so POOR!
